The Western Reserve Windsor Chair Co., nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley of the Connecticut Western Reserve, features the expert craftsmanship of R.N. Goldthwaite. His whole life spent woodworking, he has cultivated the skill and style embodied in these functional and comfortable works of art. In his Kent, Ohio workshop, R.N. has carefully recreated the woodworking tools and methods of times past, lending a depth of character and spirit to each piece created.

Each chair is carefully crafted in traditional Windsor style by hand turning, carving, steam bending and finishing. Every chair is custom-made to order with meticulous attention to detail. The strength and beauty of the Windsor Chair lends an elegance to any room. Western Reserve Windsor Chair Co.’s pieces are heirloom quality that can be enjoyed today.

We are now offering workshops! The cost is $1,000.00 per person, and includes lunch and required tools.
